Discovering her love for music, Jessie Daniels began to use this as a way to express her deepest feelings. According to her official website, Jessie quotes, "I don’t have anything special to offer except myself. I want to show people ME. And who I am. And I’m not totally dysfunctional and I’m not perfect. I’m a normal teenage girl, as any other, struggling with faith, trust, and love." Full of heart and soul, Jessie's faith in God is evident as she talks and lives her life. - First, can you please introduce yourself?: Hey everyone! My name is Jessie Daniels. I'm 16 years old. I grew up on Long Island, New York. Ever since I was little I loved singing, dancing, and anything that had to do with music. I am so happy that now I am able to share my music with others on a professional level.
- How would you describe your music style?: Pure rock - the songs are written straight from the experiences I go through and what I have learned from them. I also write about my heart and what i feel about things that go on in my life.
- When will your album be released?: I have a limited edition EP releasing in November - available exclusively at www.jessiedaniels.com. My full CD should be in stores by late Spring 2004.
- What is your favorite song off the album?: All the songs on the EP have special meaning to me, to pick a favorite is impossible!
- How do you feel about performing with Sheryl Crow and Lonestar at the 2003 Texas Stampede next month?: Wow, I feel so blessed. It's such a great opportunity for me to share my music and my message with so many people. I'm really excited!
- If you could perform with anyone who would it be and why?: That's a hard one, my mind changes everyday because there are so many great artists out there. But right now it would have to be the group MercyMe.
- What are some of your up-coming projects?: Right now I am currently writing for my upcoming album and performing all over. For performance updates check out my website.
- How have your friends and family reacted to your stardom?: I wouldn't call it "stardom" because I'm not in it to be a star. I'm here to show people who I am, what God has done in my life, and to share God with others. Where do you hope this journey takes you?: I hope this journey leads me to touch many hearts and connect with many people that will benefit from the message of my music.
- What would you like to say to your fans?: Trust in God above all else, He's the one who will give you purpose for your life and will love you unconditionally.
